The Dickson Nine
On February 29, 2020 we took in 7 horses from another rescue farm that has unexpectedly experienced financial hardship. On June 26, 2020 we took in 2 more from the same rescue. We felt compelled to help and take in these horses. In order for us to successfully rehabilitate these horses and find them loving homes, we are pleading for your consideration to help us by making donations.
We urgently need extra funds for Veterinary care, dental work, and plenty of extra feed and hay. When the horses are better conditioned, we will need help with their training. We hope you will take our special request into consideration and help us afford the best possible care for these innocent horses.
With your help, we will be posting updates of the horses' progress and improvements.

All seven new rescues received vaccinations and teeth floats from our Vet today. We had lots of good help and it was very windy. All the horses behaved very well although they did have some sedation for the teeth floating which was much needed.

Cajun is around 4-5 years old and appears to have some training, but he will need more weight before being ridden again.

Penny, approximately 7-8 years old, did really well under saddle with Brittany of Brittany Lee Performance Horses, but she will need more tune-up training.

Voodoo worked well with Brittany of Brittany Lee Performance Horses, but he is very green and will need additional training. He is approximately 12 years old.
